This is a copperplate etching titled Kannon Bodhisattva by Jun-saku Koizumi. The Kannon is depicted with a gentle expression, with compassionate eyes and flowing, confident lines. Kannon is said to be an embodiment of Amida Buddha's compassion. It is believed that Kannon encourages Amida Buddha's original vows and protects those who seek them. This artwork comes framed and ready to be displayed and enjoyed. We hope it will be cherished by those who appreciate Jun-saku Koizumi's work or are looking for a Buddhist painting with a slightly rough impression.＾＾ It includes the artist's original pencil signature and edition number 10/30. A box is also included for storage. Due to the condition of the item, there are many brown stains on the right side. We kindly ask that only those who understand and accept this condition purchase the item. Additionally, the thin, streak-like mark on the left side of the first photo is a reflection of light during photography. There are no significant scratches on the glass surface, so please be assured. Jun-saku Koizumi [1924-2012] Born in Kamakura as the seventh son of Sakutaro Koizumi, who was known as a politician and art collector. He actively exhibited his works in exhibitions from the age of 30. He was dedicated to his art until his death at the age of 87, with an insatiable curiosity that led him to work in design, ceramics, and ink painting from the age of 50 onwards. ● Size Frame: Approximately 60.5cm (width) x 2cm (depth) x 54.5cm (height) Artwork: Approximately 34cm (width) x 33cm (height) ● Notes ・ Please carefully examine the images and make your purchasing decision based on the condition.
